New Project- Volkssturm
This is a 1/9 scale bust of a late war (1945) Volkssturm (Grenadier) produced by United Empire Miniatures. I have been asked to paint the box art. The figure depicts a older soldier with the options of three versions (actually four). One is bare headed, one with 1943 cap, one with helmet on, and with the bare head and cap holding his helmet. In all, he has a panzerfaust and a K98. The picture below shows the bare headed version mock up.

Battle of Britain Update
Here is some more work on the Life Miniatures Battle of Britain bust. I've done the eyes, and most of the face. I added the earphone sections of the flight helmet and started painting leather- which one of my favorite materials to paint. It's a bit sloppy, but it will improve....I pre-shaded the torso before I lay in color......
