Soldiers of the 101st Airborne captured a German command post and scored this flag.  There were many more soldiers in the original photo.  This piece was done to support the APG (artists preservation group).  120mm scale.

Fallschirmjager

This is Young Miniatures recent release- Fallschirmjager with the MG34 machine gun.  Crusty dude.  

 

 Here is a diorama I have been working on since January.  It depicts the 29th Infantry on Omaha Beach- D Day.  The figures are completed, awaiting installation on the base. The base is solid dark walnut.  I will have to add the figures at stages, because the one end of the base will be the edge of the surf and the other slightly drier. 

I want to have a compact scene to portray the action, chaos and the fact that 6 men are trying to hide behind flimsy cover.  One man portrays the inevitable.
